PupRainbow
It all began with a massive stroke. Debilitated, he came to pup play as a way to engage with other humans without verbally communicating with them. Pup Rainbow then hit the streets of Chicago; dancing and spreading joy.
At 27 years old I was training to be the replacement in 5 years for an insurance professional who has 35 years of industry experience from agent to insider. And what’s worse is that that insurance guy was my dad. The pressure I was under was too much to handle and I broke.
I had undiagnosed bipolar disorder at that time. Then 3 hospitalizations later I quit the job where my father says I progressed 10 years in 2 year’s time. And went back to school to be a massage therapist.
I graduated and passed certification then took a vacation to Orlando where I promptly had a massive stroke. So I was basically a vegetable. Through a miraculous recovery i developed a beautiful philosophy on life, and that is:
Plan like you’ll live forever, and
Live like you’ll die tomorrow
My stroke occurred in February of 2019 and while physically I progressed great, my mental processing speed was still impacted. That meant that I had lost my ability to carry on a conversation.
Now I am a story teller!
